My name is Jayne Leighton Herd and I run Chez-Vous HomeStyle.

I have no doubt that you would like to understand what my experience is and what makes me qualified to help you. So let me tell you a bit about myself…

I have been interior styling my own properties and achieving above-market rentals and asking prices for several years. And when I started to become a resource for family, friends and then acquaintances, to achieve the same results for them, to help with property styling and advice, I realised how beneficial my skills and advice could be to others.

I have a design background. In fact, creative expression is as essential to me as breathing! And I have had the advantage of combining this with solid business experience. I started my career in marketing and am experienced in many aspects including advertising, event design and management, branding and strategy, as well as in graphic design. And as a professionally-qualified marketer, I know how best to market and sell a product or service.

However, as I grew ever-more frustrated by company politics, I realised that I wanted to run my own businesses and concentrate my working life on my passions for design and property and to use these to benefit others.

So now I combine my marketing, advertising and design experience with my property expertise, style and artistic flair to help my clients present their homes and properties at their best.

I have trained with home staging expert, Ann Maurice, The House Doctor^TM (well-known from TV programmes House Doctor and Interior Rivalry) in property staging and presentation, and have studied interior design. I am also a member of the Home Stager Network and adhere to their strict code of practice.

Art Chez-Vous

I am also a professional, contemporary abstract artist and I create original and stunning abstract artwork vivid in colour, vibrant metallics and influenced by nature, cultural diversity and life. Often sculptural, my deeply textural paintings satisfy both sight and touch!

I undertake commissioned work for individuals, interior designers, property showhomes, corporate artwork, etc.
