Consultations

The Property Stylist will provide an objective view of your property. She will point out the factors that will both appeal to and put off prospective tenants. She is impartial - unlike you and your letting agent. It is difficult to dispassionately view the property that you have invested time and money in, and letting agents often fear upsetting you.

With considerable experience of styling and letting properties The Property Stylist knows how to present them to achieve the best possible rental with the minimum of investment. That is why her feedback on your property will be offered with your best interests at heart.

Verbal consultation

  • Following an initial brief telephone conversation, The Property Stylist arranges to visit your property.
  • The Property Stylist conducts an objective and independent viewing of your property and offers you practical advice to help you achieve (or hopefully exceed) your monthly rental.
  • The viewing begins from the moment The Property Stylist arrives on the pavement in front of your property.
  • During the consultation The Property Stylist identifies the key presentation issues that may hinder your property let.

The Property Stylist provides you with constructive feedback on your whole property including internal presentation, kerb appeal and gardens.

Service Fee

  • £125 for an average property with up to 3 bedrooms.
  • Add £25 for each additional room.
  • Consultations last approximately 2 hours.
  • Key recommendations will be summarised in writing following the appointment.

Written report

Following a Verbal Consultation visit, The Property Stylist can produce a written Property Consultation Report, illustrated with photos, which will recommend how you can optimise your property, so that it appeals to a maximum number of potential tenants, tailored to your budget. It will identify any opportunities to give your property the letting factor and will offer advice on the changes required to help let your property for the best possible price.

Service Fee

  • £175 for an average property with up to 3 bedrooms.
  • Add £25 for each additional room.
  • Report provided within 7 working days of the consultation visit.

Project managed styling

Following your consultation you may choose to ask The Property Stylist to help you implement the recommendations made.

This service is ideal if you do not have time to implement the changes yourself. Or perhaps you don't feel confident about styling your own property.

If this is the case then The Property Stylist will manage the process for you.

Service Fee

Fees are dependent on the scope of the project. Full details are provided once this has been defined.

The cost of the initial verbal consultation will be deducted from project management fee.
